“Dance,
when you're broken open. Dance, if you've torn the bandage off. Dance in the
middle of the fighting. Dance in your blood. Dance when you're perfectly free.”
“The International Theatre Festival, which is
an integral part of this Olympiad which held from September 1 to 12”, at
Cuttack in Odisha and UTKAL YUVA SANSKRUTIK SANGH, which organized such a mega event.
Groups from countries like
Argentina, Bangladesh, Egypt, Hungary, Iran, Nepal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South
Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka and Uzbekistan are likely to participate in the
Festival. The theatre festival was organised to promote creative theatrical
expression and artistic acumen of theatre-loving people,”
It was perceived and felt that
the extravaganza would see performances of nearly 150 different cultural groups
having over 3,500 performing artistes. The festival also could experience the
presence of a galaxy of playwrights, directors and critics from the country and
