Fun with Maths
DPS JC was yet again witness to a
galaxy of Mathematical genius in work. Children from classes 4 & 5 stormed
their brains in Maths Jamboree.
Quizzing on elements and tricks of
Maths can be real fun, and it was clearly evident in the exercise today. One
can be amazed with these fantastic Maths MagicTricks, something many of us
struggle to get our heads around.
The quiz had four rounds starting
with simple questionnaire round, followed by puzzle round, next the buzzer
round, and finally the Sudoku – each participant was given a sheet and within
10 minutes they were to solve the trick/problem.
There was great excitement and
children enjoyed the 90 minutes session to the fullest.
Games and Sports
While children persistently try to outshine each other in literary
competitions, in games & sports too, a similar interest is displayed.
The same zest & zeal was on display in sporting contests like Carom,
Badminton & Football, & off-course, the brain game, Chess. Both boys
& girls sweated it out in the playing arena to prove their mettle.
In Football (boys) the crowd went into a fringy when they witnessed their
star-mates taking shot at the goal and bringing laurels to their respective
houses.
Enthusiasm & excitement was
written all over the playing arena.
