Club Activity spread wings at DPS-JC.
Students were distributed into various clubs and the Teacher In-Charges got
them involved in various exciting and entertaining activities. Children showed
encouraging interest in doing something different from their must routine of
remaining engrossed in books and notebooks.
Big time for the children to nurture their talents and potential in areas
of their liking.
In this context various clubs commenced in a unique way.
Siddharth Basu Club organized an On-The-Spot Quiz where some students, already
having question in their kitty, unleased on the friends, and the response was
surprisingly encouraging.
A huge number of children opted Gardening. It’s great fun working in the
midst of the most beautiful gift of God – Nature. Children were told about the
significance of plants and their benefits, and how to take care of them.
Kalidas club had a skit played that was based on Corruption. This social
evil was candidly depicted in the play.
Music club & Dance club (Tansen & Natraj) impressed upon the
students the importance of music, and how it can add charm and peace to mind.
Einstein Club mesmerized the young minds with the wonders of science.
Ramanujan club engaged the students in maths tricks. Children took great
interest in solving the critical problems and enjoyed the otherwise dreaded
subject.
Similarly other clubs too kick-started with interesting activities making utmost effort to ensure interesting and
captivating session.
