When monsoon
is ripe and ideas go berserk...thoughts wanna marry paint and come alive on
canvas with the love strokes of brush. Oh! Whatta feeling it is to paint the
town red and make all denizens pant for more and more......................
More than
350 boys and girls of all hues, ideas, thought-processes and age-groups
descended on the terra-firma of DPS-JC with their painting kits to partake in
the Open Art Effort…..conducted in 3 categories- “sub-junior”, “junior” &
“senior” all throughout the major part of the day.
Creative
zeal and enthusiasm to do something NEW was palpably visible in all eyes and
pencil & brush movements in all the classrooms thronged by the participants
from almost all pvt. and govt. schools of the district.
Distributing
distinct encouragement is of paramount importance and keeping the same in
urgent consideration “participation certificates” & some stationery items
were distributed amongst all to keep the tempo of encouragement moving.
In all the
three categories; s-j, j & s the best 3 efforts were awarded certificates
and GIFTS which witnessed great elation on the sparkling eyes of the budding
artists/painters and also visible pride on the visage of parents/guardians.
Welcome
Speech was delivered and EmCeeing was done by Mrs. Prachi Pandey of DPS-JC.
Mrs. Mandeep
Kaur guided the Prefects to perfectly present the bouquet and do the other acts
of welcoming all the guests.
Dignitaries
present on behalf of PATRIKA presented their views as also the Chief Guest Mr.
Rajesh Agarwal, Chairman of Champa Municipality gave his views on the
enthusiasm of children to participate in all artistic endeavours.
Honourable
President of RDMS Mr. Raj Kishore Dewangan also expressed his hopes and
aspirations for the younger generation in eloquent addition of words.
CCA Chief
Coordinator of DPS-JC Mr. Pradip Kr. Banerjee raised the Vote of Thanks to
conclude the day long deliberation.
