TEMPLE VISIT BY TINY TOTS


India is a land of religions. Unity in diversity is the inherited concept and realization of India. One can’t experience such diversity throughout the world except in India. So our children need to be aware our inherited religions bit by bit. Keeping in mind the same DPS-JC & DPS-KIDS took the tiny tots of Pre Nursery, Nursery, KG-I, KG-II, Class IA & Class IB to Shyam Baba Temple at Modi Chowk , Champa. The kids enjoyed the outing whole heartedly and devoted themselves to the spirituality. In the temple they chanted Gayatri Mantra and Hanuman Chalisa after the Pandit of the temple. The kids were marked by Tilak and Prasad were given away by temple authority. The kids had really happy and contented face when they came out from the temple gate.

FRUIT DAY CELEBRATION


Fruits are the gifts of God. We have got numerous precious things in the God’s world and Fruit is most probably the most precious one. Therefore DPS-JC & DPS-KIDS does not want to miss the opportunity to preach about God’s gift among the tender minds. So a unique activity was arranged for the kids of Nursery to Class I at DPS-JC and Pre-Nursery to KG-II at DPS-KIDS on 6th July, 2018 in the respective class rooms. To make the little children aware about the value of fruits such activity was arranged. The tiny tots came with colourful dresses to make the variation of fruits and their colours. Respective teachers explained them the nutritional value of fruits.

FAMILY TREE MAKING


The kids of Nursery to KG II enjoyed the activity ‘Family Tree Making’ that was held on 27/06/18 at their respective classes. With the help of their teaches the tiny tots prepared their family tree and pasted the family photographs what they brought from their own collection. The activity enhances students emotion and respect towards their family. The kids be farmed the activity with eagerness and excitement.

INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY CELEBRATION



DPS, Janjgir-Champa never leaves the opportunity to stimulate the young minds. So International Yoga Day Was celebrated on the school campus on 21st June 2018. The distinguished Chief guest Ms. Uday Laxmi Parmar, the CJM of District Court Janjgir was on the chair. Her Presence added the flavor to the Programme. Mr. Rajendra Upadhyay the Sanskrit teacher was there for yoga practice and students learnt yoga art and enjoyed it whole heartedly. On this very special day the school invited the toppers of class X and XII Board exam to felicitate them along with their proud parents. The names of students are as follows:

The Principal Mrs Kalpana Singh advised the students for their better future and the Chief Guest delivered a short speech to enlighten the children. Programme was ended with vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Nidhi Tiwari. The felicitation programme was anchored by Ms. Raj Rajeshwari.

EARTH DAY CELEBRATION



The wealth of the nation is its air, water, soil, forests, minerals, rivers, lakes, oceans, scenic beauty, wildlife habitats and biodiversity. And we the citizen are the caretaker of these assets. Keeping in mind the same, Earth Day has been celebrated in DPS-JC on 21st April 2018. A special musical drama has been presented by the students, which was supervised by Saira Khan Mam, Subhas Yadav Sir, and Harmeet Kaur Mam. The musical drama simply conveyed the message that our responsibilities increase with the fact that we do not inherit the earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children.
Apart from this formal celebration, an initiative has also been taken by students of Classes 6th to 12th in which they stepped out of the premises to spread awareness about earth and its condition. The students visited District Court Janjgir-Champa, where they met Mr Rajesh Shrivastava District and Session Judge Janjgir-Champa and Ms Udai Laxmi Parmar Chief Judicial Magistrate Janjgir-Champa. Students took oath to save Earth, followed by the message oriented painting on the walls of District and Session Court. The efforts put by the student of DPS-JC, have been greatly appreciated by the officials and the students were also awarded by the certificates for the same.
