1st July – Doctor’s Day, an annual observance is
aimed appreciating physicians everywhere in India. Doctor’s Day In India is
celebrated to honour the legendary doctor, the second Chief Minister of West
Bengal and the Bharat Ratna Awardee Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy. The celebration of
the Doctor’s Day is an attempt to emphasis on the value of doctors in our
lives.
The students of DPS-JC celebrated the auspicious day at
Civil Hospital, Janjgir on 2nd July, 2018. The event was graced by CMAHO
Dr. V. Jaiprakash as Chief Guest. He inaugurated the event with auspicious lamp
lighting. Students welcomed the doctors with hand made badges and bouquet.
School HM delivered the welcome speech. The students performed skit and PPT
Presentation on the honour of doctors. It was a remarkable tribute to all the
doctors who have made relentless efforts towards achieving the goal
irrespective of the odds.
