Pot
Decoration Junior Classes (IV to V)
Pots are probably the most common
object found in a garden or at home.
Every gardener has used them at some point, and at the very least we can
appreciate how useful these little plant holders can be! They allow for flowers
or choice plants to be easily moved around, and can also make taking care of
your plant a lot simpler! Whether using ceramic, plastic, stone, or even fabric
planter bags, they are an easy thing to customize, and are a great way to add
some character and personal touch to your garden or inside the house. Because
they are so common, flower pots can easily become a bland and boring
decoration. Everyone has seen them and everyone has used to the popular styles,
but thankfully, we have creativity on students’ side! Juniour students of DPS-JC, also got a golden
opportunity to decorate pots. It was a wonderful moment where our students used
their innate talents to show case

G.K Quiz Competition
Middle Classes (VI to VIII)
July 15th
Studies have found that people
who are highly knowledgeable in a particular domain tend to be knowledgeable in
many. General knowledge is thought to be
supported by long-term semantic memory ability. A quiz is a form of game or mind sport, in
which the players (as individuals or in teams) attempt to answer questions
correctly. In some countries, a quiz is also a brief assessment used in
education and similar fields to measure growth in knowledge, abilities, and/or
skills. DPS-JC too conducted quiz competition among middle classes. It was well
conducted for enhancement of general knowledge students are supposed to go
through different news papers and TV news channels and various subjects like, Indian History, Polity, Economy,
Environment, Culture, and Geography, etc. It was really disconcerting to see
how well all students participated to showcase their knowledge.

Table
Tennis Competition for Boys and Girls Senior Classes (IX to XII)
Whether you're playing doubles or
singles, table tennis can be a fast-paced competitive sport. In fact, when
played at an intense rate, it can be a great way to burn calories and get fit.
... Playing improves hand-eye coordination and it stimulates mental alertness,
concentration and tactical strategy. The game is played by two players (singles)
or four players (doubles) who hit a 40 mm diameter ball made of celluloid or
plastic, back and forth over (or around) the net, using table tennis racket
made of wood covered with pimpled rubber. The rules of table tennis do not
prescribe the manner in which one must grip the racket, and numerous grips are
employed. It was a enchanting moment as for as DPS-JC to have table tennis
competition among students of seniour Class. It was a head to head competition
even among the girls and boys.
