Origami is the Japanese word for paper
folding. ORI means to fold and KAMI means paper. Together, they
form the word, "origami." It is an art form that has been
handed down from parent to child through many generations. Origami involves the
creation of paper forms usually entirely by .
FOLDING.
It is valuable and unique addition to
pre-primary curriculum. Origami is not only for fun, but it is also a valuable method
for developing vital and motor skills of children. It was conducted in DPS-JC
and DPS-kids from Nursery to KG II. Kids enjoyed very well the origami activity
by making different paper folding.
