DPS JC was at its gorgeous and best on the 10th
and final day of the summer camp 2017. Be it the decoration part at the
entrance or the traditional practice of lamp lighting and Instrumental music,
Tandav, everything had a touch of perfection in it.
The closing ceremony commenced with lighting of the
auspicious lamp by Mr. George Joseph, the
principal of the school and followed by Kalpana madam, the Head Mistress, Mr.
Swarup Roy, the PRO and Mr. Shirish Dhodwar, the administrator.
Art , craft exhibition and Robotics
Thereafter, all proceeded towards the different
rooms where students exhibited their talents. Art and craft exhibition and
Robotics sections were also organized in our school in connection with summer
camp training. It was awesome and many students as well as parents visited to
have a glimpse and beauty of the art work which students had done during their
summer camp coaching where children also showed great skill and talent in
explaining their exhibits. The appreciation goes to the art teacher and all
other teachers who really took pain and hard work behind organizing these events.
Finally, all reached the activity hall where a
galore of items was awaiting for all. Melodious welcome song was well sung to
welcome all. Dances, Instrumental presentations, summer camp, each and
everything added charm to the day. It couldn’t have ended on a better note but
Music Teacher, Mr.Toman who did an elegant performance with his students which
made the audience to enjoy with their beautiful rendition of an instrumental
music.
Football Match was another attraction of the
day
We also had stunning performance of foot ball
match final. Trained summer camp students were divided into two teams ‘A’ and
‘B’ respectively. Team ‘A’ won the match by scoring 6 goals against team ‘B’. Conducive
climate made them to perform well in its ultimate.
Skating Performance
Summer camp students who got trained for 9 days
of practice, performed exceptionally well in their final performance. It was Mr.
Dixit sir who took real pain to train them.
Appreciation Certificate
Appreciation Certificates were given to those
summer camp students who had undergone the perfect training and instructions.
It was altogether wonderful and sumptuous.
Summer Camp 2017 was concluded with inspiring
thoughts from Principal and vote of thanks delivered by Anamika Madam and
finally with the National Anthem.
