DPS JC was at its colourful best on
the 10th and final day of the summer camp 2016. Be it the decoration
at the entrance or the traditional practice of lamp lighting and tilak,
everything had a touch of class in it.
Excitement and enthusiasm was evident
right from the morning when teachers and students started preparing for the
concluding day of the summer camp. The entrance, under the able guidance and
supervision of PRO Sir, was beautifully
decorated. It gave a different look to the institution. The portraits of
Goddess Saraswati and Sri Ram Gopal Dewangan Ji were placed at the entrance. The auspicious
lamp was lit by Principal Sir & PRO Sir, thus marking the beginning of the
closing ceremony of the summer camp.
Thereafter, all proceeded towards the
different rooms where exhibits were put. The Art & Craft and Robotics sections were wonderfully
organized and children also showed great skill and talent in explaining their
exhibits, not only to Principal Sir but also to the parents who had visited.
Finally, all reached the activity
hall where a galore of items were awaiting all. Songs, Dances, Instrumental
presentations, martial arts, each and everything added charm to the day. It
couldn’t have ended on a better note but Music Teacher, Mr.Apoorva Chatterjee enthralling
the audience with his beautiful rendition of a bhajan.
Summer Camp 2016 ended with the
National Anthem.
These ten days were so engaging and exciting.
Now that the school was closing for vacation, teachers bid good bye to all with
hopes and aspirations of many such beautiful days to come when all get together
for a common purpose – serve the institution, serve the nation.
