NATIONAL UNITY DAY…RASHTRIYA EKTA DIWAS




Nation is a geographical boundary for millions of people in a country like ours. Unity is the testimony of the inherent strength which binds her people in bonds of love and universal brotherhood. And a very special DAY like this ignites the dormant passion to move forward with zest and zeal in the direction of “Success in the thought process” which can help in achieving mutually beneficial GOALS for ALL.
Here in the sanctum sanctorum of Delhi Public School-Janjgir-Champa we always believe in following the ways and means which strengthen the inherent UNITY of this highly diverse nation called India and our collective efforts to Celebrate the “Rashtriya Ekta Diwas” a.k.a. National Unity Day to mark the auspicious birthday of the Ironman Sardar VallabhBhai Patel today highly re-establishes our faith and belief.
Assistant Collector of the District Janjgir-Champa Mr. S. Jayavardhan, IAS graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and witnessed the floral mélange of colourful presentations by the students of our school and the invited Govt. Primary Schools like Paraundera, Lachhanpur & Barainpara Shashkiya Prathamik Shala by way of Unity Song Unity Dance. A fantastic “Karma Dance” was presented beautifully by the girls & boys of the Govt. Primaries under the guidance and choreography of Mr. S. Yadav.
In his speech the Assistant Collector Mr. S. Jayavardhan exhorted upon all the children and teachers to feel and show the tenets of Unity and Bonhomie for the progress of the nation as a force to reckon with.
Honourable President Mr. Raj Kishore Dewangan reminded all about the powers of “the strong bonds of unity”, the only central factor to keep the wheels of this vast nation on the path of ceaseless growth trajectory.
Honourable Head Mistress Ms. Mitu Dey’s Vision and Direction was clearly visible in the beautiful and sensible decoration of the entire performance area. Her sense of aesthetics is the guiding force behind the work of all the teachers of the Junior Wing who feel elated following her knowledge nuggets.
The entire show was Anchored by Ms. Raj Rajeshwari and 2 young students Gousiya Memon & Tanishque (both of 6-B) under the usual mentoring of the CCA Coordinator Pradip Banerjee/PENMAN who concluded the entire deliberation in his inimitably immaculate way by raising the Vote of Thanks.
The Chief Guest Mr. S. Jayavardhan was felicitated by the “Mark of the Moment-Memento”, a shawl & Srifal by the Honourable President Sir.
Sir IAS Jayavardhan was also presented with a copy each of the School News Letter “Ripples” and the School Magazine “SPANDAN” by the Respectable President Sir.
The school also organized a Sit and Draw Competition and distributed books n stationery to all the Govt. Primary School children.
To mark the good occassion as a memorable one for all “A Run for Unity” was also organized.
Let good and united penmanism always prevail to uphold the strong ties and bonds of UNITY.
