Soul………..Food…………
Teachers’ DAY each year brings in
loads of nostalgia on one hand and lots of planning to present a fantabulous
mélange of oomph added orchestrations to rock the STAGE……..on the other.
Here in DPS-JC……following the
traditions of the yesteryears the Morning Assembly is conducted by the Teachers
for the Students…This year’s em ceeing was done by Ms. Raj Rajeshwari…encouraged
by the inimitability of “the wonder of words”, Penman. Mr. Souvik Nandan,
PGT-Physics added mirth in the morning by his “Thought for the Day”. Mr.S.Panda,
PGT-Economics read the NEWS to apprise one and all about the happenings of the
world. Mr. Prabhu N. Tiwary added the knowledge zing by “Describing the truths
behind the Celebration of Janmashtami”. Mr. ANSSK Prasad elucidated on the Life
n Times of the man of the moment…Dr. S. Radhakrishnan in his prepared rhetoric.
Before all this The Group of Teachers presented the PRAYER in as a fabulous
chorus under the guidance of the Music in charge Mr. Apoorva Chatterjee.
The Honourable President Mr.
Rajkishore Dewangan, the lovable AVP Mr. Kamal Kishore Dewangan, the
Respectable HM Ms. Mitu Dey, The PRO Mr. Swarup Roy & Mr. Shirish Dodhwar,
the Administrator all were present on stage to grace the memorable occasion.
Mr. Banerjee CCAC presented the tailpiece of
the assembly as usual sharing some interesting anecdotes from the life of Sri
S. Radhakrishnan and thanked all for their spirited participation.
Himanshu Dutta & Nimisha Afreen,
well tutored by the Penman, then took over the reins of the Programme of the
Day as the anchors.
Honourable President & AVP of the
DPS-JC lighted the ceremonial lamp assisted by the HM, PRO & the
Administrator and offered garlands and floral tribute to Goddess of Knowledge
and The 2nd President of India Dr. S. Radhakrishnan.
Bouquet presentation was done by the
students to the Chief Guest Mr. Rajkishore Dewangan, President of DPS-JC, The
AVP Mr. Kamal Kishore Dewangan, the Guest of Honour and the HM Madam Ms. Mitu
Dey.
Welcome Song, Group Dance, Hindi
Drama, Group Song, Teachers’ Badges Presentation along with beautiful couplets
for all the Teachers and the Admin. Staff describing them & their qualities
were all the highlights of the day’s action packed scenario.
Honourable PM Narendra Modi has
chosen the occassion of Teachers’ Day to have hearty TALKS with the “future
leaders” of the Great Nation since last year and this year also the school has
left no stone unturned in the way of the honest efforts to bring the Live
Telecast/Webcast for all the teachers and students.
There was a fantastic and highly
competing game of Musical Chair for all the Staff Members organized by the
students in which Mr. P. Yadav and Mr. S. ROY(PRO) met in the final showdown
and bagged the 1st and the 2nd positions respectively.
The hectic and highly elaborate
programme of the day concluded in the partaking of all at the Grand Gala
Sumptuous Lunch thrown by the School Management in honour of Teachers and other
staff members at the Hotel Dream Point. Group Photo was taken to keep the
memory ALIVE for ever.
The Penman wishes everyone all the
very best with one request to one and all……………..that is to come back and rejoin
to add ceaselessness to the ever fluid flow of the bandwagon……………called DELHI
PUBLIC SCHOOL-JC.
