“Pratibha ” competition organized by RDMS (Ramgopal Dewangan Memorial Society)
Keeping in mind the present scenario of competitive world RDMS had introduced “Pratibha” G.K. and Drawing competition in 2013-14.This society works for the development of the society and simultaneously it works to uplift the education level in the district. The aim of this society is to provide platform to the students to evaluate themselves because in this cut throat competitive era each individual has to prove themselves for survival.
               Every year R.D.M.S. “Pratibha” G.K. and Drawing competition is conducted by the society which is being conducted in 2 levels.

  • This year R.D.M.S. “Pratibha” G.K. and Drawing competition I level conducted on 27.04.2014 (Sunday) Time: 9a.m. to 11a.m.
  • Venue of conducting I level –

  • Venue of conducting II level was Delhi Public School, Janjgir-Champa on 4/06/14 (Sunday).
  • R.D.M.S. “Pratibha” I level total participants were 546.
  • Among these participants 313 were selected for level II.

SUMMER CAMP 2014-15, From 1st May to 10th May 2014 at DPS, JANJGIR-CHAMPA

Childhood is the age of dreams. This is the age when we become skilled with many things. To maintain the same concern in children, DPS-JC has taken a step ahead to teach them variety of new creative bits and pieces in this “Cool and Colourful” Summer Camp. Our school tries to inspire the students to face the exigent world in natural and simple mode. The camp was opened for all students. They came to attend from all over the city.
The camp was started on 1st May, 2014 at DPS, JANJGIR-CHAMPA. 

Main attractions of the camp were :
  • Western Dance: Little stars started learning from very first day of the camp.
                                         They got chance to prove their passion towards dance. Trainers
                                         Mr.Varun and Mr.Shado from Gwalior came to train the students.
                                                                    
  •  Classical Dance:      Dance is a type of art that generally involves movement of the body, 
                                         often rhythmic and musical. It is performed in many forms. One of its
                                        form is “Katthak”. Students of this group were guided by Mr. Shubhash
                                        Yadav.
  •  Music Classes:       Students gathered to learn something which truly amazed everyone.
                                      They were guided by Mr. Raju Kaushik (vocal) & Mr. K.N. Sahu (instrumental).
         
  •   Art & Craft:      God has gifted human with  such a wonderful and tremendous
                                   powers that they can learn anything if they wish.
                                  While using this power students knew about many new creative things this   
                                   short time period, here they learnt pop stick work, sand paper painting,  
                                  fabric painting, pot work, calligraphy etc.
                Our Art & Craft teacher Mr. R. Santhosh guided them to create all
                                       these craft work, Students made paper lotus, paper quelling work,glass 
                                       paper painting, flower pots, pop stick house, poster painting
                                       and many more things which were praise worthy.                            
  • Robotics:          Children of 21st century are acquainted with the modern technologies.
                              Keeping their interest and demand of time, our school provided them
                                     Robotics Training”. They learned many things which truly
                                 add to comfort the human life. The students of this generation were
                                 guided by Mr. Neeraj Pathak.
                             The advance learners were taught many useful things like - How to make
                              solar battery?, Finding Air Pressure experiment,  vegetable battery
                               and many more robot projects. Students of this section were very excited
                              to see their own creation in the field of “Robotics”.        
       
       P.D. Classes:         “Personality Development” when we talk about P.D. It tells all about
                                         responsibility, cooperation, courage, self-esteem and attitude. Our
                                         trainer and guide of  this class Mr. Ashiqur Rahman taught the students
                                   how to develop it. They learnt about the positive attitude, team work and will  
                                   power.


10th May 2014, CLOSING CEREMONY OF SUMMER CAMP 2014-15:
We at DPS, Janjgir-Champa always bring in the students to cope up with the present scenario. That is what we have planned “Cool and Colourful” Summer Camp. This camp was opened for all students of Janjgir-Champa. It was started on 1st May 2014 and included all most each colour to feel good like Art and Craft, Western Dance, Classical Dance, Music, P.D. classes and Robotics.
Closing ceremony of” cool and colourful” Summer Camp took place on May 10, 2014 at DPS, Janjgir-Champa. The honorable chief guest of auspicious ceremony was Smt. Meena Devi Dewangan Ji, Patron of the society and the special guest was the president of the school Shri Raj Kishore Dewangan Ji.

The ceremony started with the traditional lamp lightening ceremony as a tribute to Devi “Saraswati”. Then all the students over the district performed together in the stage of DPS-JC and it was amazing to see their tremendous performance, what all they had learnt in this cool camp.
Then special guest of the ceremony gave an inspirational speech. He appreciated the students for their excellent presentations.
Then at last chief guest of the ceremony inaugurated “Art & Craft Exhibition”, presented by
all learners and again all were amazed & spellbound by seeing it, which was reflecting the talent of little champs.
